Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM), the longest running esports circuit in the world, will return to the Bay Area for the third straight year on November 19th - 20th, 2016. Featuring top-tier teams and two of the world’s most popular esports titles, League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, IEM Oakland at the Oracle Arena will no doubt continue the tradition of hosting legendary matches that have defined IEM for the past decade. This year, your favorite League of Legends analysts will be using the Acer Predator laptops on the analyst’s desk to break down all of the action.
"Acer’s Predator brand is known for its cutting edge performance which is in line with the brand values of our tournament,” said Michal Blicharz, VP of Pro Gaming at ESL. “For that reason we are very happy to expand our cooperation with Acer onto the analysis desk in our League of Legends broadcast.”
IEM has always been a proponent of matching the world class teams and broadcast talent that are invited to our tournaments with top of the line equipment. This season, we are excited to have partnered with Acer to fulfill this goal. All players will be gaming on the Acer Predator XB241H monitors while our League of Legends analysts will be doing what they do best on the Acer Predator 17 Gaming Laptops.
"Top quality displays are vital not only to esports players, but to viewers as well,” said Michal Blicharz, VP of Pro Gaming at ESL. “We look forward to expanded support from Acer Predator products at IEM Oakland and to a League of Legends analyst desk powered by high-grade hardware.”
