herO becomes the new champion of Singapore!
Intel Extreme Masters Singapore has finished and CJ Entus' herO is the new champion!

After four days of incredible StarCraft II action in the $25,000 tournament here at Intel Extreme Masters Singapore, everything came down to a Protoss mirror between the two Korean players san and herO.

San's way into the Grand Final was bumpy at first, but he gradually approved over the course of the tournament. Starting in the Open Bracket, he was on the edge to elimination on the first day already. Losing to the Korean Protoss Avenge, he had to make a comeback through the Lower Bracket by defeating players such as BlysK, Feast and TargA, just to meet the person whom he had lost to in the first round, Avenge. Learning from his mistakes, this time he defeated Avenge 2 - 0 and secured himself a spot in the Group Stage.

Here he had to face one of China's best players, XiGua and the King of Wings himself, Mvp. Overcoming both of them in consecutive matches and securing himself one of the quarterfinal spots. Having proven his strenght in PvZ with an incredible victory over TargA and XiGua earlier in the tournament, the bracket proved to be a simple task for him. He defeated both of his Zerg enemies, EffOrt and Hydra, and secured himself a spot in the Grand Final where he would meet herO.

herO, crowned the Sick Nerd Baller of Intel Extreme Masters Singapore, had an equal run through the tournament, though he had directly qualified to the Group Phase through online qualification. Facing the two Terrans Bomber and Dream in his group, he proved how strong he was against Terrans. Showing that once again in the brackets, he defeated Mvp and made it through to the Grand Final by defeating DongRaeGu in a 3 -0. Not having faced a single Protoss player in the tournament, no one knew what was to be expected of herO in the Grand Final.

Being crowned the Sick Nerd Baller of the tournament, herO went into the Grand Final as the crowd favourite. Although it looked like he would lose the series as san went up two maps, the CJ Entus player made an incredible comeback and won four to two.
