ESL will round out the Intel® Extreme Masters Season 11 League of Legends lineups with IEM Challenger, an International Wildcard (IWC) qualifier to be held from October 28-31 at Paris Games Week.
In order to promote global fairness, IEM Season 11 announced the inclusion of more League of Legends teams from more regions. Part of this commitment will be embodied by IEM Challenger, the first global International Wildcard qualifier for the longest running pro gaming circuit. League of Legends teams from each of the eight International Wildcard regions will gather at the Paris expo Porte de Versailles to fight for a spot in IEM.
IEM Challenger will consist of two separate qualifiers, each two days long, to determine two IWC invites to IEM Oakland (US) and two for IEM Gyeonggi (South Korea). The teams, selected based on their standings in the League of Legends Championship Series, will battle through a best-of-three double-elimination bracket to make their way to either California or Gyeonggi.
October 28-29 starting at 8:30AM CEST
October 30-31 starting at 8:30AM CEST
