"Rekkles was the perfect piece to finish our puzzle": Wickd speaks to Carmac before Intel Extreme Masters San Jose
Michal Blicharz interviews Mike "Wickd" Petersen about recent roster changes, Rekkles and Alliance’s aims at San Jose

With just three weeks to go, the Intel Extreme Masters kickoff clock is ticking.

Alliance, having recently returned from Worlds and now boasting a lineup that includes one of the season's most dominant players, are definitely looking forward the challenge of competing at SAP Center San Jose, as evidenced by this interview Mike "Wickd" Petersen did with our very own Carmac.

Talking about his perspective on the upcoming tournament, team politics and the addition of Rekkles to the roster, there's plenty to get your teeth into here.

Here are a few of the things Wickd spoke to Carmac about:

  • "A lot of people think it's all about gathering talent, but it's important that all the ingredients mix well together."
  • "[Rekkles] is one of the most dedicated players I have ever met and his attitude is close to perfect as a pro player."
  • "I would say top three is the least people should expect of us, but first is never easy to achieve."
  • "I agree with the fans that the EU LCS isn't as interesting since there are a lot more personalities in NA, but I don't think we are weaker."
