Team EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming qualify for Intel® Extreme Masters Oakland!
The NA and EU Qualifiers determine the last two CS:GO teams headed to IEM Oakland.

On October 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive teams fought in the North American and European Qualifiers for a chance to compete at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland. After an intense day of matches, Team EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming took the last spots for the European and North American regions respectively.

OpTic and EnVy will join FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, SK Gaming, Astralis, Cloud9, Team Liquid, Gambit Esports, Immortals, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and the MongolZ at the Oracle Arena to compete for the lion’s share of a US$300,000 prize pool and a win counting towards the Intel Grand Slam.

Winning IEM Oakland counts towards the Intel Grand Slam: a new system that awards a US$1,000,000 prize to one team that wins four out of the last ten $200,000 events held between DreamHack and ESL. As of now, SK Gaming,G2 Esports, and FaZe Clan lead the pack with their recent wins at ESL One Cologne 2017, DreamHack Masters Malmo and ESL One New York respectively. IEM Oakland will be the fourth event in the Intel Grand Slam.
