ESL to host new Dota Pro Circuit League for the CIS Region

ESL is delighted to announce the ESL One CIS Online Season 1, a Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) League, taking place from January 18th to February 26th.

The exciting new Dota Pro Circuit League is set to kick off 2021 after a year without the famous International, the largest Dota 2 tournament in the world. The new DPC Circuit will see multiple online leagues for separate regions, as well as the return of the Majors. 

Tournament Details – ESL One CIS Online Season1:

Format: 

  • 16 teams split between an Upper and Lower Bracket. Round Robin Best of 3 between all teams of each bracket.
  • Top 2 teams from the Upper Bracket will receive an invite to the next Dota 2 Major
  • Bottom 2 teams from the Upper Bracket will be relegated to the Lower Bracket
  • Top 2 teams from the Lower Bracket will advance to the Upper Bracket

Prizes:

  • US$205,000 total prize pool for Upper Bracket
  • US$75,000 total prize pool for Lower Bracket
  • DPC points will be awarded accordingly

Viewing:

  • Online-only tournament; no tickets required
  • Broadcast in English, Chinese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and more (to be confirmed)
  • Tournament will be broadcasted on Twitch and YouTube

Dates:

  • The season will run from January 18th to February 16th
